Why Would I Benefit from a Leadership Academy?

The culture of health care is rapidly changing. Communication and influence are crucial to success in patient care as well as leadership. You are expected to take care of your patients, explain complex procedures and diseases while you influence decisions, lead your staff, explain  your needs to administration and even negotiate reimbursement with payors. You, as a  physician, face challenging situations which require crucial conversation skills on a daily basis.  Leading effectively, by improving your communication skills, improving self awareness, understanding others, implementing successful change management and acquiring conflict  resolution skills can lead to an improved day, every day.

What Will I Gain?

  • Effective tools for concise convincing communication
  • A deeper understanding of self awareness and your own personality traits
  • An understanding of others’ driving traits to gain influence and improve team work
  • The opportunity to improve your Emotional Intelligence using self awareness and social awareness
  • The skills to be prepared and confident during critical conversations
  • Learn to look at conflict as a healthy challenge as opposed to an aversion
  • The ability to successfully deploy delegation and build your team
  • Skills to help you become a physician leader or transition to a new career path
